WESTDOC EXPANDS NIGHTSHIFT SERVICE TO GLENAMADDY
Date Published: 04-Sep-2007
There’s good news for people living in East Galway with the announcement that Westdoc is to implement a second “red-eye” service from Glenamaddy
Previously, anyone who rang Westdoc with an emergency during the night shift, had to wait for a GP to come from the Westdoc base in Knock Co. Mayo
Many people living in areas of East and North Galway were dismayed at the prospect of waiting that long for a doctor in an emergency situation
However, 5 more doctors from the Ballaghadereen and French Park areas of Co. Roscommon and Knockdoe in Galway have joined Westdoc
This means that Westdoc is now in a position to provide a second ‘red-eye’ doctor, who will operate from the Westdoc treatment centre in Glenamaddy
