On Sunday, Father’s Day, people from across Galway came to South Park, the Claddagh, to fly a kite for men and boys’ mental health. The idea was to create a powerful visual spectacle of support for men and boys. Over 150 people came together to fill the sky with colour. The event was also a tribute to those who have lost their lives in the River Corrib, one the reasons that it was decided to locate the event beside the River Corrib at South Park.
