Youth programme helps more than 50 young people in Galway and Roscommon

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Youth Advocacy Programmes, YAP, worked with 55 young people and their families in Galway and Roscommon last year.
YAP receives referrals from the Child and Family Service for ‘at risk’ young people aged between 10 and 18.
It matches the young person with an advocate from the community who will act as a role model for 6 months in a bid to help them improve their lives.
YAP Galway will launch its Annual Report at Ballybane Enterprise Centre this morning.
