WRECKAGE OF CRASHED PLANE TO BE TRANSFERRED TO MEATH LATER

It’ll be evening at the earliest before the wreckage of the plane which killed 2 men, when it crashed in Inverin yesterday, will be taken for a full inspection in Co. Meath

The Cessna Caravan single engine light aircraft plane was at the end of its 6-minute journey from Inis Meain to Inverin when it missed the runway and nose-dived into a nearby field

Well known Loughrea Accountant, Paul McNamee from Lake Road and Pilot Matt Masterson from South Dublin were killed in the crash

Meanwhile 7 other passengers are remain in hospital where 1 is very critical, 2 are in a serious condition and 4 are stable
