WORLDWIDE INTEREST IN COMPETITION TO DESIGN DOCKS BUILDING

Over 140 people have registered their interest in participating in an architectural ideas competition for the centre pier in Galway Docks.

Last month Galway Harbour Company and the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland launched the competition for people to submit designs for a world-class building to give a recognisable identity to the Docks in the city.
