WORK TO RESTORE HEATING AT ST BRIGIDS HOSPITAL BALLINASLOE

Work is underway to restore the heating system at St.Brigids Hospital in Ballinasloe.

Thirteen patients had to be transferred to the – as yet – unopened new community nursing unit in the town after freezing temperatures caused the St Brigid’s heating system to break down.

The HSE says it intends to return all affected patients to St Brigid’s hospital when the remedial works have been completed at the ward.
