WOODFORD NURSING HOME TO CLOSE

A private nursing home in East Galway is to close.

Saint Anne’s nursing home in Woodford has in the region of 17 residents, as well as nursing staff.

A spokesperson for the Health, Information and Quality authority says they are ‘working closely with the provider and the HSE to ensure the safety and well being of the residents’.

Meetings are currently underway at St. Anne’s nursing home.
