WOMAN TAKEN TO HOSPITAL FROM PARKMORE CRASH

A woman has been taken to hospital following a crash at Parkmore in the city this morning.[7/10]

The single vehicle crash happened at the hill in Parkmore off the Tuam Road just before 7a.m.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene and the road was closed for a time, however the road has now been re-opened.

The woman driving the car has been taken to University Hospital Galway, although it’s understood she’s not seriously injured.
