WOMAN TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AFTER GALWAY CRASH

One woman was taken to hospital following a crash near Corrundulla this morning.

The two-car collision occurred shortly before 7am at the Corrundulla Cross.

Gardai are advising motorists that the scene of the crash has been cleared.

According to a spokesperson for UCHG the woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance but it is not yet known if her injuries are serious.
