WOMAN STABLE FOLLOWING MAREE CRASH

A woman is in stable condition in University Hospital Galway following a single vehicle crash on the Maree Road in Oranmore

The incident occured shortly after half past ten at Bluebell.

Two units of Galway Fire Brigade, the Gardai and the Ambulence attended the scene.

Members of the Fire Brigade had to use specialised cutting equipment to release the woman from the vehicle.

She was taken to UHG where a HSE spokesperson has confirmed she is now in a stable condition
