WOMAN FOUND IN ORANMORE WATER NAMED LOCALLY AS BRIDGET HICKEY

The woman, whose body was retrieved from the water near Oranmore yesterday [16/8] has been named locally as Bridget Hickey, the missing 26 year old who had been living in the city

Tipperary native Bridget Hickey went missing on Tuesday Aug 7th after she was last seen near Dominick Street in the city

A massive search, involving the Garda Sub Aqua Unit and family and friends had been undertaken to try and find Bridget

Yesterday shortly after 2pm a passerby spotted what’s understood to be Bridget Hickey’s body in the water near Oranmore
