WOMAN ESCAPES HOUSE FIRE IN CARRAROE

The emergency services are on their way to the scene of a house fire in Connemara.

The alarm was raised within the past hour and two units of Galway Fire brigade are on route to the scene of the fire at Boher Bui, Carraroe.

Initial reports suggest that nobody was injured in the blaze which is thought to have caused extensive damage to the house.
