WOMAN DIES IN CLAREGALWAY COLLISION

A woman has been killed in a road traffic collision on the N17 Galway- Tuam Road in Claregalway this morning.

The crash is believed to have happened at 9.40am when the woman was hit by a car at the turn-off for Whiriskey’s Refrigeration.

Gardai and the emergency services are currently at the scene.

The N17 has been closed to traffic from Corinthians Rugby Club to Claregalway church
