This year’s Galway International Arts Festival will feature the Skywhale a massive hot air balloon which will be tethered at various locations in the city during the first week of the Festival and will take to the air, weather permitting, for flights over Galway.

We have an exclusive prize of a trip for a lucky reader on one of those flights over Galway. You won’t find this anywhere else in Galway! It’s a Tribune exclusive.

To round off the day we’ll also include tickets for two to a major Arts Festival event on the day of your flight plus dinner for two with wine at Martine’s Restaurant and Wine Bar.

To win, all you have to do is tell us why you would like to travel in the Skywhale hot air balloon basket in a flight over Galway.

Post your entry to us at ‘Skywhale’ Connacht Tribune, Market Street, Galway or email to competitions@ctribune.ie. Include your name address and contact details. Competition closes at 5.00pm on Monday 13th July 2015.

Note: The Skywhale flight is for one person only and is subject to weather conditions. The date of the flight will be finalised when an accurate weather forecast is available but it is planned for between 13th and 19th July. If the flight can not go ahead for any reason then we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize.

Entrants must be over 18 years of age and should be willing and able to take part in a hot air balloon flight.
