WILLIAMSTOWN RESIDENTIAL LOT SELLS FOR 100 THOUSAND EURO IN CUT-PRICE AUCTION

Part of a Williamstown residential area comprising seven terrace houses and six sites has been sold in a cut-price auction for 100 thousand euro.
It was one of 109 lots from around the country that went under the hammer at the Allsop Space auction in Dublin yesterday (Dec 4).
The Williamstown development where the houses and sites are located is known as Lough na Corra and is situated on the western side of Nuala na Midoige Walk, close to the Sacred Heart Primary School.
Other lots to sell at the event include four houses at Ballycuirke West in Moycullen on the instruction of receiver Aengus Burns from Grant Thornton.
They sold for a total of 285 thousand euro – 85 thousand more than the reserve price.
In Loughrea, the Turtle Pub with a seven day publican’s licence sold for 85 thousand.
To the city lots now and nine apartments at Fearann Ri in Doughiska have been sold for 320 thousand euro.
They came to the market on the instruction of receiver Stephen Tennant and sold 10 thousand above their reserve.
A three-bed semi-detached house in Rahylin Glebe in Ballybane went under the hammer with a final sale price of 91 thousand.
