Former Galway footballer Diarmaid Blake is leading a new team – after launching his new financial services company along with his business partner Lorna Egan.

The Milltown man has established Money Maximising Advisors LTD (MM Advisors), Galway’s newest financial services company along with his business partner Lorna Egan.

It’s something of a rebrand for the operation they jointly established in October 2016 as CFP Financial Advisors Ltd – which means that while the name is new, the team has already well-established its reputation.

MM Advisors have a nationwide coverage and a client base with vast diversity of incomes.

The services that they offer range from budget management, Life Insurance, mortgages (individual and buy-to-let) and pensions to redundancy advice, retirement planning and tax advice.

Diarmaid – a four-time Connacht Championship winner – switched his main focus from Gaelic football in 2013 to a new career in the financial services industry.

Lorna, who had worked in numerous wealth management positions in various banks and financial Institutions over the previous 20 years was also looking for a change in direction in her career – so they decided to set up Money Maximising Advisors Ltd.
