The Connacht Tribune is proud to launch our newly redesigned website connachttribune.ie

The primary objective of the redevelopment was focused on aesthetics: simplifying our content and increasing its accessibility and visibility for users.

The new design allows for streamlined menus, clear navigation and a responsive layout for all platforms – smartphone, tablet and desktop. We hope that the new features will make visiting the site easier and give readers a more interactive experience.

With a fresh look and feel and intuitive design, our new website is designed with you in mind. Fully optimised for mobile devices with automatic updates to the Connacht Tribune App, our new site will allow you to keep up to the minute with all the latest news, sport and events in Galway, whether you’re at your desk or on the move.

Enda Cunningham, Digital Editor, said: “For more than 110 years, the Tribune has been the top source of local news and sport for Galway. We continue to reinforce and grow that reputation with our digital offering from both the Connacht Tribune and Galway City Tribune.

“The award-winning connachttribune.ie is the top performing website for news in Galway, while our social media channels and Tribune App are leagues ahead of all other local media when it comes to reach and engagement.”

Operations Manager at the Connacht Tribune, Declan McGuire,  said the new site will offer advertisers access to more than 7 million page impressions per year making it the most comprehensive digital offering available throughout Connacht and beyond.

He said: ‘’With the launch of the new website, we hope to build on the service we offer our loyal readers and advertisers – at home and abroad. We are looking forward to continuing to work with our clients – both in print and digital – to promote their business with the most comprehensive coverage in Galway.  We would also like to thank our web developers, Boon Agency, for their professionalism in designing and developing the new site.”
