WEST HEALTH FORUM HAS NO CONFIDENCE IN HEALTH MINISTER

The West Regional Health Forum has passed a motion of ‘no confidence’ in the Minister for Health.

At the monthly meeting of the Forum yesterday, City Councillor Padraig Conneely proposed the motion of “no confidence in the Minister to deliver reliable and safe public health services”.

A lengthy debate ensued, with Councillor Conneely claiming that the Minister is solely resonsible for the state of the health service.

The motion of no confidence in the Health Minister was put to a vote and was passed by a majority of 15 to 11.
