Well-known Galway estate agent killed in M6 crash

The man killed in a car crash on the M6 near Athlone on Saturday afternoon has been named as 42-year-old Oisín Allman, a well-known estate agent in Galway.

Mr Allman was driving westbound at around 3.20pm, when his car was involved in a collision between Monksland East (J13) and Ballinasloe East (J14).

He was removed to Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe, where he was pronounced dead. The female passenger was also taken to hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Mr Allman was from Grattan Park in Salthill and operated the Allman Reynolds estate agency on Merchants Road in Galway with his wife Caroline.
