Week of Chinese educational links launched in city

A week of educational, cultural, artistic and historical links with China was launched in the city today.

The event was launched by Mayor Padraic Conneely at the Galway education Cejntre in Cluain Mhuire.

Director of the centre Bernard Kirk spoke of the importance of Chinese in the education system in Galway at primary and secondary school level and he expressed pleasure at the big attendance at today’s event.
