Weather warning for strong gusts and heavy rain
Met Éireann has issued a warning for strong gusts of wind and heavy rain tomorrow, which could lead to flash flooding.
A nationwide Status Yellow wind warning has been issued, which is in place from midnight tonight (Wednesday), until 6am on Friday.
The warning is for southeasterly winds reaching mean speeds of 45 to 60km/h with guts of 80 to 100km/h, strongest along the coast.
There will be outbreaks of rain throughout Thursday, becoming locally heavy and persistent in the afternoon and evening, which could lead to flash flooding and poor road conditions.
