Galway bay fm newsroom – Poor weather conditions are hampering the search for a Tuam resident feared drowned after falling into the sea at Blackhead, Co.
The 47 year old Lithuanian man was fishing with a friend at rocks near the lighthouse at Blackhead when he fell into the water at around 2pm.
Valentia coastguard says because of high gales they will have to make a decision later this morning on whether to task Shannon helicopter.
Doolin and Kilkee coastguard are assisting in the search which is now in its fourth day.
