WATER RESTRICTIONS TIGHTEN AGAIN ON ARAN ISLAND

Even more restrictions are being placed on water users on the Aran Island of Inis Meáin.

Because of an ongoing water shortage on the island, water will come on daily at noon and cut off at 5p.m., instead of 11a.m. to 6p.m which was the previous case.

The new restrictions will come into effect tomorrow.
