WATER CONSERVATION INITIATIVE FOR GALWAY CITY

A new water conservation initiative called “Slow the Flow” will be launched in the city next week

The aim of the City Council initiative is to encourage adults and children to reduce the volume of water that they use in homes, businesses and schools in Galway

The Slow the Flow Campaign will be jointly launched by Mayor of Galway Tom Costello and Galway hurling and football star Alan Kerins next Tuesday the 6th of November at 7pm in the Galway City Museum.

As part of the initiative an awareness booklet entitled ‘Water Conservation in the Home’ will also be launched.
