Legal argument in adjournment is continuing in the trial of a Tuam waste company, 2 other waste companies and 5 individuals charged with sharing markets and customers in 2005.

They’re charged under the Competition Act relating to a tender for waste disposal for Mayo County Council in 2005.

Paul Gleeson and his company Wers Waste, along with Mayo businesses Bourke Waste and McGrath Industrial Waste, directors Stanley Bourke, Paddy McGrath, and Declan McGrath, deny the charges.
