Voting for Galway island communities to commence tomorrow

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Galway’s island communities will go to the polls for the local and European elections tomorrow. (22/5)
There are 651 people registered to vote on Inis Mór, 203 on Inis Oirr, and 158 on Inis Meain – while Inishbofin has an electorate of 168.
Polling stations on the Aran Islands and Inishbofin will open to the 1,180 registered voters at 7am, and will remain open until 10 o’clock tomorrow night.
