Shannakeela, Recess: deceptively spacious five-bed, two storey,

The Connacht Property Auction’s next auction – which takes place at the end of this month – will be online only due to the current emergency.

IAM Sold Company Director Patrick Folan said he is conscious of safety measures needed for staff and the general public and staff are now working remotely with their network of 300 partner auctioneers across the country.

“Our online auction platforms will run monthly as normal in Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Northern Ireland. All properties will be offered by online auction and the public auctions have been suspended until it is safe to resume. We have an online auction taking place each date where there was a public auction planned, so it will have no impact on the date’s properties can be offered,” he said.

The company has confirmed it is closely and constantly monitoring the situation and is following all advice and guidelines as laid out by the Government and the World Health Organisation.

He said the auction company has spent many years developing its own online auction platform and has three full-time developers constantly working and improving the platform.

The online auction platform allows interested parties to download legal documents, raise legal queries with the solicitors, bid on properties and allows for contracts to be signed – all without the need for human interaction.
