VEHICLES DAMAGED FOLLOWING GARAGE FIRE IN LAVALLY

Several vehicles have been seriously damaged following a fire at a car yard in Lavally yesterday evening.
The fire happened at the car yard of a garage, in Curry, Lavally around 8 miles outside Tuam, around 5pm.
Three Fire engines battled the blaze at the garage for over two hours, and it was brought under control by 7pm.
It’s understood a number of vehicles were badly damaged during the blaze
Meanwhile, Supermacs on the Headford road in the city is operating as normal following a fire in the premises in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The fire broke out at around 1am, and the fast food restaurant had to be evacuated.
Two fire engines were called to the scene, and the fire was brought under control by 2:30 am.
A staff member has confirmed to Galway Bay FM news, that they are operating as normal today.
