US Mayor to visit Galway city for historic tour of Menlo
Galway bay fm newsroom – An American Mayor is due to visit the city next month.
Mayor of Menlo Park in California will make a trip to the city at the end of November following an invitation by Mayor of Galway, Padraig Conneely.
Mayor Peter Ohtaki will stay at the Menlo Park Hotel during his stay, which follows the signing of a friendship agreement between Galway city and Menlo Park, California.
Menlo Councillor Frank Fahy says Mayor Ohtaki will undertake a tour of Menlo village, where the founding fathers of Menlo Park in the States emigrated from
