UP TO €50,000 TAKEN IN MERVUE ARMED RAID

Galway gardaí are still trying to find two men who held up a securicor van at the bank in Mervue Industrial Estate this morning.

The armed raiders threatened staff and customers at Bank of Ireland before making off with up to 50 thousand euro.

It’s understood the men were carrying a gun, knife and baseball bat.
