‘Unrestricted’ opens in Oughterard
The Oughterard Courthouse Arts Programme (OCAP) is getting set to present the first exhibition of its Summer 2022 programme. Unrestricted, from the uachtarARTS group will open at the courthouse this Friday, June 17, from 7-9pm and will continue to Sunday, July 26.
The uachtarARTS group resumed meetings and workshops in the courthouse on Tuesday mornings over the last six months.
Members are thrilled to be re-engaging with each other and meeting new members who discovered the collective on social media during lockdown.
Unrestricted, as the title suggests, will feature a diverse range of artworks showcasing the members’ diverse interests. Participating artists include Barbara Dunne, Caroline Mcfadden, Diana VandeKamp, Deirdre Stephens, Fintan Convery, Geraldine Folan, Gil Cusack, Gráinne MacManus, Helen Caird, Hillary Morley, Jess Walsh, Kathleen Furey, Kathleen Hinde, Lelia Ní Chathmhaoil, Maria Hutton, Mary Byrne, Mary Doyle, Maureen Mooney, Natalie Wood Folan, Olga Magliocco, Patricia McQuinn, Philippa Maguire, Rebecca Phibin, Renske Boef, Shona Butler, and Susanne Keane.
The uachtarARTS group extends thanks to Clann Resource Centre, Oughterard Courthouse and Galway County Council for their continued support.
