GALWAY United will be hoping their ruby slippers are in working order this Friday night as they bid to make it past the Second Round of the FAI Cup for only the second time in eight seasons when they host Finn Harps in Terryland Park (kick-off 7.45pm).

There may be no place like home, but the fortress that was Terryland Park last season, when it was breached just once, has been far from a happy home for United this season as they have failed to deliver the goods in front of their own fans, the side’s three league wins, and League Cup success against Monaghan United, all coming away from home.
