UNEMPLOYMENT DOWN SLIGHTLY IN GALWAY

Unemployment in Galway remained largely the same in March compared to the previous month.

Only 239 people came off the Live Register, leaving an unemployment figure of just over 22 thousand 200.

The biggest reduction in unemployment in Galway last month was in the city where 112 people came off the dole, leaving its unemployment figure at just over 11 thousand 200.
