UNDER-UTILISED GALWAY PROPERTIES SOUGHT FOR YOUNG CREATORS CENTRE

Senator Fidelma Healy Eames is appealing to property owners to consider offering up a vacant building to house a Galway Young Creators Centre.

The Fine Gael Senator is urging property owners in the Oranmore, Clarinbridge, Castlegar and Claregalway areas to assist in providing accommodation for the social enterprise.

The not-for-profit centre is dedicated to youth creativity and development and is aimed at young people in Galway and the wider western region.

The group is willing to fund the renovation of the centre and would require a six year lease.

Senator Healy Eames says such an offering could make a real difference to young people’s futures.
