UHG second most overcrowded hospital nationwide today

Galway Bay fm newsroom – University Hospital Galway is the second most overcrowded nationwide today.

There are 50 people waiting on trolleys or in wards at the emergency department.

University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded today with 54 waiting.

The third most overcrowded is Cork University Hospital where 47 are waiting to be seen.

Nationally, data from the Nurses and Midwives Organisation show 580 admitted patients are waiting for beds.
