UHG HAS HIGHEST WAITING LIST FOR CHILDREN

66 children are waiting at least six months for inpatient and daycare treatment at University Hospital Galway.

According to figures released by today’s Irish Independent, UHG has the fourth highest number of children waiting for treatment out of 16 public hospitals around the country.

According to today’s Irish Independent, not all children waiting need surgery but many are on the list for in patient treatment as they need to be admitted for a serious procedure.
