TYNAGH MAN TO BE SENTENCED FOR DRUGS SEIZURE IN MARCH

A 43-year-old unemployed carpenter has pleaded guilty before Galway Circuit Criminal Court to having drugs worth 1.2 million euro in his possession.
Vincent Glynn, from Limehill, Tynagh, pleaded guilty to having cannabis and cannabis resin for sale or supply to others at his home on June 12th last year.
Bernard Madden, SC, defending said his client, who has been in custody since his arrest last June, wanted sentencing to take place as soon as possible.
Judge Raymond Groarke remanded Glynn in continuing custody to await sentence on March 11 next.
