TWO WOMEN INJURED IN SEPARATE BUS COLLISIONS

Two women are recovering in hospital after two separate collisions with buses last evening.

The first crash happened at ten past 8 when a car collided with a coach at Tooreen on the Leitir Mor to Carraroe Road in Connemara.

In the second crash, a woman was injured in a head-on collision between her van and a tour bus near Oughterard at 8.30pm.
