TWO ROSAVEAL FISH FIRMS INVEST IN MAJOR JOBS INITIATIVE

Two Rosaveal companies are taking part in a major EU co-funded Seafood Processing Business Investment Scheme which aims to generate 142 additional jobs nationally within the sector.
The Galway seafood processing firms are two of 21 nationwide that have made a 15 and a half million euro investment in the initiative.
In Connemara, two firms will have a project spend totalling over 323 thousand euro with grant assistance of over 80 thousand euro.
Rosaveal based Iasc Mara Teo has the largest investment of over 310 thousand with 77 thousand euro in approved grant aid.
This is followed by Breizon Ltd, also based in Rosaveal, which has a project spend of 12 thousand and grant assistance of over three thousand.
