Two people rescued from boat on Lough Corrib
Galway Bay fm newsroom – Two people have been rescued from a boat which was stranded on Lough Corrib overnight.
A man and a woman were sailing on Lough Corrib when the engine fell off their boat.
The coast guard received a call from the occupants at 7.30 this morning, and the Corrib Mask lifeboat was dispatched.
The occupants and their dog were returned safely to their home on Inishanboe Island.
