TWO NIB GALWAY BRANCHES TO CLOSE WITHIN SIX MONTHS

Two National Irish Bank branches in Galway are to close within the next six months.

Galway Bay FM News can reveal the Eyre Square branch will close in the first quarter of 2010.

It will merge with the NIB Financial Service Centre on the Moneenageisha Road in the city before the end of March.

The Ballinalsoe National Irish Bank will close in the second quarter of next year, between March and June and merge into Athlone NIB.
