TWO MEN PLEAD GUILTY TO SERIOUS ASSAULT IN CITY

Two men have pleaded guilty to a serious assault in the city which resulted in Mark Keane’s upper lip becoming detached.

Derek Ward of 25 Coole Park, Bohermore and Jason Ward of 74 Rian Luachra, Ballybane had originally denied the charge.

Jason Ward has been remanded in custody to be sentenced on July 14th.

Derek Ward has been remanded on continuing bail – he’s due to be sentenced on the same date.
