TWO MEN HAVE LUCKY ESCAPE AFTER FIRE BREAKS OUT IN CITY HOME

Two men in their 60s had a lucky escape following a fire at a house in the city last evening.

The fire broke out at the house on the Fr. Griffin road at around half past six.

The two men were treated for smoke inhalation at the scene, but did not have to be hospitalised.

It’s understood the house on Fr. Griffin road was not seriously damaged during the incident, and Gardaí say they are not treating the incident as suspicious.
