Two granted bail on Tuam drug offences
Galway Bay fm newsroom – Two men charged in connection with a drugs seizure in the Tuam area earlier this week have been granted conditional bail.
They appeared before judge Aeneas McCarthy at Galway District Court.
49 year old Martin O’Grady with an address in Cloonmore in Tuam and 40 year old Sean Murphy with an address at Annaghvane in Bealadangan appeared for separate hearings in court today.
They are charged with the unlawful possession of cannabis at Cloonmore in Tuam on Tuesday June 18th contrary to Section 3 and Section 27 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1977.
They are also charged with sale or supply contrary to Section 15 and Section 27 of the Act.
Judge Aeneas McCarthy granted bail with conditions for both accused.
They were remanded to appear before Galway District Court on September 18th.
