TWO GALWAY TDS OPT FOR UNVOUCHED EXPENSES

Seven Galway TDs have opted for vouched expenses while Galway West TD Noel Grealish and Galway East TD Micheál Kitt, have both chosen the unvouched option.
Figures compiled by the Irish Times show that Fine Gael Minister of State and Galway East TD Ciaran Cannon has recorded the least expenses at over 17 thousand 800 euro since the 31st Dail first sat last March.
Fine Gael’s Sean Kyne and Brian Walsh and Labour’s Colm Keaveney recorded vouched expenses of 50 thousand 540.
This was followed by Labour’s Derek Nolan with a recorded sum of 50 thousand 225.
Galway East Fine Gael TD Paul Connaughton had an expenses figure of 49 thousand 991 followed by Galway West Fianna Fail TD Eamon O’Cuiv who has claimed expenses of 49 thousand 715 euro.
Independent TD Noel Grealish has claimed an unvouched public representation allowance of 41 thousand 490.
Galway East Fianna Fail TD Michael Kitt also opted for the unvouched allowance recording expenses of 39 thousand 860 euro.
