TWO ARRESTED OVER STOLEN PROPERTY IN TUAM

Two people were arrested, and a number of stolen items were recovered, by Gardai following searches of several houses near Headford in recent days.

Gardai from Tuam were involved in the searches in the past two days and a man and a woman, were taken to Tuam Garda Station for questioning.

They were later released and are expected to appear in court at a later date.

Garda investigations into the incident are continuing.
