Two arrested after stabbing at Headford road estate
Galway bay fm newsroom -A man and a woman are in Garda custody following a stabbing at an estate on the Headford road in the early hours of today.
A woman in her 30s recieved a stabwound to her abdomen at Ard an Coiste sometime between 12:30 and 1am.
She was taken to University Hospital Galway where her condition is described as critical but stable this morning.
A man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s were arrested in connection with the incident and taken to Milstreet Garda station.
They’re being held under section 4 of the criminal justice act.
