TURLOUGHMORE RESIDENTS MEET WITH GARDAI OVER VIOLENCE IN THE AREA

Local residents in Turloughmore have met with Gardai to discuss an incident which occured at the Copperbeach pub last week.

Five Garda squad cars and a public order vehicle were called to a dispute which arose during a Travellers wedding at the Turloughmore pub last Wednesday evening.

Concerned residents have confirmed to Galway Bay fm News that they have met with the Gardai to try to resolve their concerns over violence in the area.

Another meeting is expected to take place in the coming weeks.
