TUAM WOMAN PLEADS GUILTY TO BANK ROBBERY

A 38 year old woman has pleaded guilty to stealing 100,000 euro from the Bank of Ireland in Tuam four years ago.

Fiona Finnegan, of Sylaun, Tuam, pleaded guilty before Galway Circuit Criminal Court yesterday to stealing 100,000 euro from the Bank of Ireland, Dublin Road, Tuam on November 22, 2006.

Judge Raymond Groarke adjourned sentencing to Friday, May 7th.
