TUAM’S NEW MAYOR TO PUSH FOR COMMUNITY HOSPITAL

The New Mayor of Tuam, Councillor Martin Ward says he hopes to see progress on a Community Hospital in the town during his year in office

Martin Ward has created history by becoming the first person from the Travelling community to be elected Mayor for a second time.

The popular settled Traveller community activist and independent politician told the town board he was honoured to be elected again as first citizen of his town.
